The pond at Morgan Territory is an oasis of life. Red winged blackbirds are defining their territories and selecting nesting sites. Show of red, diving at each other, and ariel acrobatics atre ongoing. This was a place worth watching on this windy day.

This regional park extend beyond the large hills across the canyon and beyond. Pleasanton California is located down the valley and Mount Diablo appears as the blue mountain on the center right hand side of the frame.This was a great place to share a bottle of wine with my Dad and a friend.
