The jeep road takes you about 4500 feet above the town in east-central BC in the Rocky Mountain Trench between Jasper, Alberta and Prince George. The CN Railway still serves this region for both freight and passenger service.

View from Randaberg hill, I wrote info about this viewpoint in an other gigapan from the beachside. this location is an old military control area that has been released to public use now. there is realy more history regarding this area and info about this is posted on view signs by the road.
