  2. The jeep road takes you about 4500 feet above the town in east-central BC in the Rocky Mountain Trench between Jasper, Alberta and Prince George. The CN Railway still serves this region for both freight and passenger service.

  3. My mother and father used to run the Beanery restaurant there in the late 30's and early 40's. Not much has changed. Via Rail passenger trains still make regular stops here between their runs from Jasper and Prince George.
