  3. from eucalyptus trees at west to Hope Ranch to the east. Coastal mountain tallest peak north of here at 3300feet, I think. Actually, farther west at the peaks with antennas, they are 4000ft and 4300ft. Pretty good elevation change so close to the Pacific Ocean.   4. Not the prettiest of days (cloudy, snowy and windy) but this is going to be the first of four change-of-season shots taken from the same spot. Be looking for the Spring, Summer and Fall panoramics to come as the seasons change. This is a beautiful and serene area.

  5. There is a gondola ride to the 12,000 ft peak of Monarch Crest. The view of the Rocky Mountains from inside the observation house shows many peaks that are near or over 14,000 ft. This day the wind was so strong that it was necessary to shoot this 360 degree panorama from inside.
