Taken from the shoulder of Baseline Road, Sherwood Park. A super large crane is curretly at the refinery doing some very heavy lifting...at least 1000 tons. Flare stack has a flame on it about 50 feet high.

We were geocaching in George Bush Park which has recently fallen prey to the Texas wild fires. You can see a bit of the devastation here. It looks like fall with al the leaves on the ground, but the trees should still be green this time of year.

The farmer who leased the right of way for this pipeline to cross his property told me the pipe will be buried in a 4 foot trench which has yet to be dug. When I asked him whether things would look normal again in six months, he said, "I hope so!."

Vor dem Hafen / der Marina Lubmin liegt das Verlegeschiff "Castoro 10" um die erste Leitung der Ostsee-Pipeline zu verlegen. Auf dem Bodden sind mehrere Bagger und Versorgungsschiffe zu sehen.
