  1. At the Gateway National Recreation Area on Sandy Hook there are signs of the cleanup operation at the Seagulls Nest parking lot and surrounding beaches. This view of the aftermath of SuperStrom Sandy was taken from Mount Mitchell Scenic Overlook at 266 feet above sea level.
