This was the rodeo arena in Centerville, Texas. Gone are the bleachers and concession stands. The front row of pens and chutes have been cut off and removed and what remains is slowly falling apart.

Rodeo Beach is a textbook example of a baymouth bar, separating Rodeo Lagoon from the Pacific Ocean. Fort Cronkhite is located along the north shore of Rodeo Lagoon. The GigaPan is shot from the northwest end of WWII era Battery Alexander.

I shot this early in the morning before the Stampede fans arrived so as to show the empty stands and tp have the sun illuminating it from this side.
