Portishead Marina with Wales and the Forest of Dean in the background. The two Severn Bridges and Avonmouth Docks. 259 shots 7x37 taken on my Canon Sx1 at about 300mm Sadly, although I always level my tripod and camera...the results are curved. I'll be trying again.

This gigapan does not follow my rule of "It must look good as a wide angle panorama!" as it doesn't, but I decided to publish it anyway because of the unusually clear visibility over the Bristol Channel and the River Severn looking towards , Wales, Chepstow and the Forest of Dean. The bridge on the right is the ori...

This whopping 9Gp super gigglepan of 648 individual shots was taken with the Epic 100 on top of a 6m lighting stand. This was necessary to see over the castellations round the 15m wide top of the tower. The castellations are 3m high. Taken on Canon SX1 IS 648 shots 22nd sept 2009 See also www.gigapan.org/viewGigap...

- GP55 Two bridges across the Bristol Channel (River Severn) between England and Wales by Keith Rodgerson
-
The old Severn Bridge on the right built in 1964 and the new Bridge built 1995 can clearly be seen in this panorama taken from Bristol Golf Club I have failed to save this as a tiff and then use photoshop to crop and adjust contrast. Can't work out why as previous gigapans have allowed me to do this.

This panorama is a combination of 9 shots taken on my Canon 40D with a 200mm Zoom. I was in this location on Dundry hill in order to get a good long lens shot of Brunel's Clifton Bridge (1864) with the old Severn Bridge (1964) behind it in good visibility. I took the other shots for an experiment and have now uploaded ...

Bristol from Dundry hill looking north towards the Bristol Channel. I have cropped and adjusted contrast to cut through the haze. Camera is Canon SX1 IS , 125 pictures are stitched to make this picture. A little hazy still but I'm watching the visibility and will be back when Wales is crisp and clear!! See the Bridge...

Another in the series. I'm still looking for super definition and keen to process this in photoshop to adjust contrast (see GP22 and GP10) and to crop the edges but sadly the stitcher doesn't make this possible (Shortly after this I found out how to do it). see www.gigapan.org/viewGigapan.php?id=26462 )and will...
