Raffles Place is the name of this rare open space in Singapore and the name of the MRT (underground train) station whose entrances are here. This is normally one of the busiest places in the city, but this shot was taken too early in the morning for many people to be about. While I was sat here waiting for inspiration...

This is the Olympic Walk entrance to the Marina Bay Sands hotel/shopping complex in Singapore. Why "Shoppes" I don't know.
