La Azul is a volcanic lagoon at the Somuncura Plateau in Rio Negro, Argentina. The lagoon is in the middle of the crater of an extinct volcano and acts as a reservoir of water. The panorama shows the North/West rim of the crater lit by the first rays of sunlight.
