  3. The famous Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel in Banff, Alberta. A very busy place in winter with thousands of skiers, tourists taking advantage of the mild winter this year. The hotel is also a testament to the stonemason's craft. Many of the rich and famous have stayed here.
