This is one of the few remaining wild, relatively undisturbed, lakes in the area. Experimental treatment of cheatgrass infested hillside. Site was sprayed with Plateau herbicide in September 2009. Picture taken August 2010. Site is showing very positive results with strong suppression of cheatgrass and an increase of native species cover.
