Several hundred wind turbines generate clean electricity in southern Alberta. The wind in this area is consistent most of the time and Chinook winds during winter can sometimes reach 120 kmh. More turbines are near Pincher Creek as well.

Wind turbines at Blyth east pier - rotating blades were bound to create a problem for this type of panorama, but also signs that the unit wasn't quite level. A test after days of wet & wild weather!

A more detailed view of www.gigapan.org/viewGigapan.php?id=2588 . Unfortunately this stitch kind of butchered most of the wind turbines.
