I love the street art in Vienna, the stencils and cut ups and at least some of the grafitti. In the Museumsquartier we are are on edge of the Spittelberg area, "a center of the Vienna street art scene."
This corner is across the street (Burgasse) from our apartment - you can see it from our window.

At the corner. This is a great European spot. You come up past St. Stephens, on Rotenturmstrasse, and you can get great books just off Rotenturmstrasse on Wollzeite at Wawowa books, or coffee and amazing treats at the corner of the next street, Lichtensteig at Zanoni and Zanoni, or turn right and go to Figlmüller for amazing Schnitzel on Backerstrsse. The schnitzel is literally bigger than your plate - you should get the small, half portion, even if the waiter jokes with you that you are a c...

This gigapixel panorama was shot from the Wilheminenberg castle high above the wineyards of the 16th district of Vienna.
The view covers east, central, southeast and southern parts of Vienna and its surroundings. Farest places which are regognizable are the Carpathian Mountains in Slovakia and some wind energy parks close to the Hungarian Border (what I've seen so far, but feel free to discover more ;-) )Capture taken with Canon EOS 7D, 70-200 mm f/4 L IS USM + 1.4x Extender MkII on Seitz...

"The heaviest traffic was recorded in Vienna regions, particularly on the A23 (south-east trunk
road) with an average traffic of 120 000 vehicles a day". But under this crazy motorway junction of A23 exists a rest of nature, in former times a member of the Danube river. While taking the gigapan I could hardly hear the camera blip, the traffic was very loud!taken 2011-06-21 14:00 CEST
This water body "Oberes Mühlwasser" is a residual of the Danube river, formed by the...
