I make paintings – both digital and natural-media – based on photographs of people, places, pets and practically everything else.
My most recent scenic paintings have been based on images captured from Gigapans. The Gigaburgh Collection – an homage to my Pittsburgh, PA, USA hometown – uses close-ups captured from Gigapixel panoramas created during the High Point Pittsburgh project shot from the roof tops of the U.S. Steel Tower, as well as 1700 Grand View Avenue and the Trimont on Mount Washington. These are the first paintings ever to show our beautiful 'burgh from these magnificent perspectives.
