Tim Brown

I am a biologist, inventor and avid gigapanner. I developed the Gigavision system - a solar powered, wireless, weatherproof, gigapixel timelapse camera system. More detail here: gigavision.org Will open in a new tab or window
The goal the Gigavision project is to enable researchers to track life-cycle and growth data from every individual plant in an entire ecosystem over long time periods such as years or decades..

My company TimeScience (www.time-science.com Will open in a new tab or window) develops software and hardware solutions for recording and analyzing long time-lapses to monitor plant phenology (life cycles), animal behavior and ecosystem change.

I am currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Australian National University in Canberra, Australia where I am developing high throughput plant imaging system for genomics research. bit.ly/Tim_ANU Will open in a new tab or window
