Gene Cooper, is an interactive installation and performance artist exploring relationships between the natural systems of the body and ecology. Gene is married to sculptor Naomi Stein Cooper (www.naomisteincooper.com /) and lives in Vallejo, CA.
Cooper is the president of Four Chambers Studio, a creative technologies development company. Four Chambers specializes in producing interactive virtual tour programs of National Parks and Monuments, interactive exhibits for museums, science centers, and visitor centers, and interactive heart related projects. In the July 2009, a first set of gigapixel macro photographs were released and posted to the Gigapan website. The technology used to create the photographs combines focus stacking, stitching, and robotic systems for macroscopic and microscopic sugbjects.
