I am a tropical ecologist and conservation biologist. I work part-time as a faculty member at the University of Washington Bothell, and part time as a conservation scientist for Paso Pacifico (www.pasopacifico.org 
), an NGO dedicated to tropical dry forest conservation in Nicaragua. I also spend time in Chiapas, Mexico, where I study the ecology of bats in traditional coffee agroforestry systems.
