This is the longest, single arch steel span in the world. It is not well marked, but does have some nice spots where you can get good photos.

A shot of Times Square in New York, NY, as seen from the corner of 47th and 7th. It was snowing so I had to take the shot quickly so that snow wouldn't melt onto the lens. It was very cold, but we came to love NY.

A view of Lake Erie from Presque Isle State Park - taken in January 2009. I love this shot with the way the snow looks.

This was a compilation of photos taken from each of the 4 sides of the Washington Monument around 505 feet up. I first stitched each of the 4 views individually (north, south, east, and west) then merged the 4 panoramas into one larger one. It measures nearly 50,000 pixels wide and is the first time I haven't been ab...

Did a photoshop auto-compile of nearly 30 photos of the rotunda area of the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC. Not sure what Photoshop did, but it certainly did come out quite interesting. Figured I'd share...

A mural depicting some interesting things at Rockefeller Center (30 Rock) in New York. Some people, including myself, believe that Rockefeller (and NBC) want to control what we think by controlling what we see. If you look carefully, you can see all the areas of science and culture that the Rockefeller family wishes ...

while staying in the Courtyard Mariott NY Times Square I took 16 photos from our window (room 3304). This photo looks out over 39th between Broadway and 5th, facing south. You can see a smidgen of the Empire State building in the upper left side and some other really nice buildings.
