Contact by Kyle House from the GigaPan Intracanyon lava flows at Rinehart Cliffs, Owyhee River, OR by Kyle House
The upper lava sits on the middle lava at this point. The two colluvial wedges to either side are not the same wedge as far as I can tell in the field. The older wedge toes out on the middle lava. The younger wedge occupies an erosional niche carved in the middle lava and interfingers with alluvium that sits on the lower lava.

Baked colluvial wedge by Kyle House from the GigaPan Intracanyon lava flows at Rinehart Cliffs, Owyhee River, OR by Kyle House
This unit extends behind the lava in the foreground. It grades laterally into flat-lying bedded sand over rounded gravel. Possibly hillslope / Owyhee floodplain interface some 1.8 to 2.0 My ago.

Frothy, tapered edge of flow. by Kyle House from the GigaPan Intracanyon lava flows at Rinehart Cliffs, Owyhee River, OR by Kyle House
This is the absolute edge of the lower lava unit. It has wrap-around cooling structures and is overlain by a gravel that is composed in part of rounded, vesicular basalt.
