This is my first try at doing a night shot with the GigaPan. I used the Canon 400mm L 5.6 prime lens at a distance of 10-12 miles away. Don't let the darkness fool you, even though this was started around 9:30pm, it was still 98 degrees outside!

This was taken at Red Rocks Canyon in Las Vegas. I used a Canon 70-200mm 2.8 IS Lens at full zoom at f/5.6. Photographed during the "golden hour" with the sun setting behind the mountains, just a little to the right of this image. The elevation is around 4,700ft
