Just above Hanging Lake the Spouting Rock has an amazing cave behind it where the light produces deep blue color in the ice. Hanging lake is just off US Interstate 70 at the Mile 125 marker in Colorado.

Rifle Falls is located near the town of Rifle, Colorado. Nearby Rifle Gap is a cut through the Grand Hogback geologic feature that roughly follows US interstate 70 from Glenwood Springs to Rifle where it heads north. There are also small caves in the travertine rock that you can explore.
