This is the first bridge you go over as you start hiking up the John Muir Trail. From here you get a wonderful vista looking up canyon of Vernal Fall. This is the last spot on the trial with a water fountain and flush toilets just behind the trees to the right.

This is the first milestone as you're hiking up the Upper Yosemite Falls trail. From here you have a view overlooking the valley. If you've made it this far you might as well keep going. There's not much more uphill until the trail gets to the base of Upper Yosemite Fall. Keep going till you come around the corner and see the Fall!
