    Description:

    A very small sliver of the first part of the meadow. The first bit you see as your going uphill. Such a same you can't see more of it from here. :(

    Description:

    The road coming up towards the east side of Tioga Pass. The road is coming uphill as it approaches us with the pass farther to the right. The near lake is Tioga Lake, the far like is Ellery Lake.

    Description:

    Tourists enjoying the view as the water of Yosemite Creek goes over the edge. It's a monster effort to get up here, but well worth it.

    This road runs up the canyon past several nice campgrounds and ends up at the hydro-electric power plant at the head of the canyon.

    Description:

    I'd guess the two drivers are bothing worrying about what they've gotten themselfs into. One is hoping the brakes hold out, and the other is hoping the car doesn't overheat!

    Just out of site to the right are the cables that are the final hurdle to summiting Half Dome. These hikers are without doubt looking up and wondering what they've gotten themselves into.
