Aloha Airlines 737 by Ian Merritt from the GigaPan Forsaken by Ian Merritt
Aloha Airlines (now defunct) operated a fleet of 737s primarily for inter-island short hops. World attention focused on Aloha in 1988 after flight 243 from Hilo to Honolulu landed safely at Kahului on Maui following an explosive decompression incident in which the top tore off a large section of the forward compartment. One flight attendent, presumably standing in the aisle at the time, was blown out of the aircraft and was the only fatality; 65 passengers and crew suffered various degrees of injury.

Eskimo Melting in the Desert by Ian Merritt from the GigaPan Forsaken by Ian Merritt
The rudder fin of this MD-80 series aircracft bears the Alaska AIrlines signature Eskimo face. Alaska has retired all the MD-80 series aircraft from its fleet in its ongoing effort to keep its fleet modern. The retirement process was probably hastened in the aftermath of the tragic loss of flight 261 into the water off Pt. Mugu determined by the FAA to have resulted from a maintenance issue of the elevator trim jack-screw assembly specific to this aircraft type.

N857V by Ian Merritt from the GigaPan Forsaken by Ian Merritt
Number partially obscured. Judging by the visible part of the "7", it had to be either 3 or 7. Searching online, N853V also exists/existed as an aerial refueling tanker configuration with some artwork on the rudder. Found N857V at jetphotos.net/showphotos.php?regsearch=N857V
confirming it's at Mojave and looks about right.0 comments
