Petrified Forest National Park - Near South Entrance by Rick Braveheart

The Southern section of Petrified Forest National Park features the largest majority of petrified wood found within the park. The Long Logs Trail features the longest logs in the park and the Giant Logs Trail offers an up-close experience with petrified wood. Both areas are located near the park’s Rainbow Forest Museum.
