  3. Orographic cumulus clouds form above Eldon Hills, Old Caves Crater, and the San Francisco Peaks early in the day. By mid-afternoon the area was surrounded by inense rainstorms.

  4. This was taken on the "high road" between Santa Fe and Taos. It has 12 segments, each composed of a three exposure HDR image. It was taken with a Canon 5DMkII with a Canon 24-105 MM lens set at 47mm and F/8. The three HDR exposures were +/- 2 EV with a nominal of about 1/1000 sed.

  7. A large, tornadic thunderstorm fired up about 50 miles west of Hays, KS around noon today. By the time I got out to shoot this GigaPan it had developed quite a huge anvil cloud and was northwest of town and headed towards Nebraska.
